OKTOBER 2015 - RUSSIA


72 HOURS  at St PETERSBOURG - POUCHKINE VILLAGE - PETERHOFF-Gulf of FINLAND

Back to roots, Happy to be a little home close Lake Baïkal culture,one of my ancestor land Siberian Princess to East AFrica.

The trip starts with departure formalities to Russia for the visa from EU especially when you perform the steps alone. The list of documents to provide updated is available on the Russian Embassy website in your local country.
A very good overview of the work organization: methodical, fastidious with the deadlines..
Unexpected arrival at St Petersbourg for an exotic stop.
This is not yet the white nights, but the sky is clear with incredible brightness. 
 Living the location place, crossing the bridge close the stadium.
A view far away 
Lucky a lighthouse will guide us :-) We are just front the Imperial Museum and very curious and excited to visit it.
Hermitage Museum left me speechless and you will understand why. It will cost you if you are not Russian citizen 650 RUB including authorisation for pictures 
On the 2nd Floor, you will have a focus view of wonderful collections of Russian Culture and palace interiors ... Let's start with this Russian floor.
 Very high ceilings with imposing chandeliers with sumptuous and varied details
XXL vases with sublime finishes

 Surprising aisles each other with murals or sculptures decorations
 Flamboyant tapestries
 All the splendor of the tzars for art is deployed
  Galleries as gift packages loaded with history
I feel so small among many space and volume
 And my eyes are amazed by so much creativity

No more vocabularies just by your ticket and come visit Russia.

 The must of this museum is to have a holistic view of artistics wonders of the world
and here we are naturally in the Egyptian gallery "well-ordered charity begins by oneself " :-)

 Easy to fInd with a map left then stratight from Hermitage Museum
Not by carriage but by foot under the rain of the 1st day,  

best way to discover the city and identify street  for a better orientation.

 
Cross a park with beautiful buildings on your right
And a beatiful funtain  in perspective


Then you will see a sculpture & in your left St Isaac Church,  
And behind St Isaac a horseman scuplture
 Inside this church you will have a panoramic view of St petersbourg

 If you are brave climbing the steps

Evening walk
with pleasant surprises along the way randomly in the streets
 As St Nicholas Naval Cathedral
and dinner at Sadko

 Located 29 km from St. Petersburg in the Gulf of Finland, Peterhoff, the city and its palaces can be reached by road (subway and bus) or by hydrofoil. .
Meteor based just opposite the Winter Palace (Hermitage) on the Neva
Above the full speed hydrofoil: 60 km / h, the ride takes 30 minutes in excellent comfort. It cost around  return depend of the company boat.

A walk on Nevski Propect Avenue is full of all spots to see 
as shops with local crafts 

and Siberian cosmetics from wild Siberian nature in Khakassie in the southof Sibeiamy root land.
